Pinnacle Presbyterian Church

Founded in 1989, Pinnacle Presbyterian Church has grown from a handful of believers meeting in Glenn Moor clubhouse at Troon Country Club to a membership of over 1,300 strong. Located in North Scottsdale on 20 beautiful acres, PPC’s campus provides facilities for numerous programs in mission, music, worship, and family support.

The Future Ensured

In 2006 the church leaders saw the need to ensure and safeguard the long–term financial interests of this magnificent church. To meet this need, the Pinnacle Presbyterian Church Foundation (PPCF) was created. Gifts given to the church or directly to the Foundation help ensure the future needs and ministries of the church in years to come. In addition, it is a wonderful way to put a donors’ faith into action and realize their visions for the future of Pinnacle Presbyterian Church.

Foundation Structure

The Foundation is a charitable 501(c)(3) tax exempt Arizona Corporation governed by by–laws based on a Trust Agreement with the church. The Board of Trustees consists of church members who are elected by the congregation to oversee PPCF. The trustees are responsible for the investment and management of all gifts given to the Foundation.

Foundation Purpose & Mission

The purpose of the Foundation is to strengthen the congregation and it’s mission by developing legacy gifts and managing funds on its behalf. The Foundation actively promotes and secures gifts and bequests while educating church members in support of the long–term capital needs of Pinnacle Presbyterian Church. The Foundation provides church members and friends with financial and estate planning options and alternatives. Gifts to the Foundation can be restricted or designated for a special purpose(s) at the donor’s discretion.

Good Management

Funds donated to the Foundation are invested by a professional and independent investment manager who is selected and monitored by the board of trustees. All investments follow the investment policy adopted by the trustees.

Foundation Giving

The Foundation offers many products and choices available to donors: charitable gift annuities, property, and charitable trusts. Gifts may be designated or restricted within the guidelines of the Foundation. The goal of the Foundation is to make an annual contribution of up to 4 percent of the corpus to the church for designated projects.
