Where is Pinnacle Presbyterian?

What time are worship services?
Pinnacle holds two worship services on Sunday mornings:
| 8 a.m. Worship in the Chapel | 10 a.m. Worship in the Sanctuary | |
| • An approximately 45–minute service | • An approximately hour–long service | |
| • There is special music and one hymn sung (less music than 10 a.m.) | • The full Chancel Choir leads the congregation in worship | |
| • Nursery care provided | • Nursery care provided | |
| • Communion celebrated the first Sunday of the month | • Children’s sermon | |

| • Refreshments served on the terrace after worship | • Refreshments served on the Sanctuary Patio (West Terrace), in front of the Sanctuary | |
| • Simple liturgy, or order of worship | • Full liturgical service | |
What time should I plan to arrive?
Plan on arriving about 10 minutes before the service time. That will give you time to look around, choose your seat and get settled in.
If you have infant children, arrive about 15 minutes early to provide time to visit the nursery and check them in. Electronic pagers are provided to parents in the event the nursery needs to get in contact with the parents during the service.
Where should I park?
For the 8 a.m. service, look for a spot by the Chapel, which is located near the Pima Road entrance.
For the 10 a.m. service in the Sanctuary, look for Guest Parking against the building to the right of the lower–level gathering area. There are four specially marked spots available. If those are taken, please park in any other spot you’d like.
Where do I go for services?
The Pinnacle campus is divided into five main buildings:
- The Sanctuary (where the 10 a.m. worship is held), which is the largest building on campus, includes the nursery and music rehearsal rooms.
- The Chapel (where the 8 a.m. worship is held), which is in the Library and Church Office complex
- The Fellowship Hall, with classrooms inside
- Teen Center, which is adjacent to the Fellowship Hall
- Pinnacle Presbyterian Preschool, where other Church School classes are held
You can view a map of our campus here.

What about Church School for my children?
Pinnacle Presbyterian Church offers a warm and nurturing program that is designed to create excitement in learning about our Christian faith. Participants, 3–years–old through 5th grade, explore the Bible, beliefs and Christian ethics through hands–on activities, which include music, storytelling, drama, kinesthetic movement, cooking, art, geography and discussion.
Our children benefit from clergy and volunteers who believe that God calls us to pass the excitement and energy of our faith to the next generation. Our learning community is strengthened by family fellowship events and opportunities to connect our faith to specific acts of service in the church and community.
Church school is held each Sunday following the Children’s Message during the 10 a.m. worship. You are welcome to escort your child to the West Terrace, where we gather for Church School. The children are greeted by our volunteer teachers, who lead them to their classes. Please feel free to walk with your child to the classroom, so you will know where the class is held. You’ll have a chance to become a bit more familiar with our campus. You are welcome to stay in class for the hour or return to the Sanctuary, depending on your child’s comfort level.
Class topics and locations vary week to week. You can find more information in the announcements section of the bulletin each Sunday, or online prior to the Sunday. Parents can pick their children up in the appropriate classroom following the service.
Our church school program is coordinated with the school calendar, with the Church School kickoff in early September. The summer schedule runs from June through August, and all children gather in Fellowship Hall for a group lesson.
What about my teen?
Youth, grades 6 through 12, also may leave worship following the children’s sermon to attend church school in the Teen Center.
What about my younger children?
For infants and toddlers, the Nursery, upstairs in the Sanctuary building opposite the elevator, provides safe care. Parents are provided pagers so they can be called if they are needed during the service.
What should I wear to church?
There is a wide range of dress at Pinnacle Presbyterian Church. In general, most people attend in business or business–casual attire. You are, of course, welcome to wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable in church.
